TAG!!! You're it!
You're not REALLY it unless I tag you at the bottom, but you're more than welcome to steal the format and tag your own friends!
The Rules
1. You must post the rules.
2. Each person must post 5 things about themselves in their journal
3. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and create eleven new questions for the people you tag to answer.
4. You have to choose 11 people to tag and post their icons on your journal.
5. Go to their page and tell them you have tagged them.
6. No tag backs I'm against this rule. Feel free to tag me back. I'll just add the answers to this journal!
7. No stuff in the tagging section about "you're tagged if you're reading this". You legitimately have to tag 11 people.
Five Things About Me
1. I'm pescetarian, which means I only eat seafood and vegetables. I made this choice not because of anything related to PETA but because protein from seafood is much better than protein from other types of meat. Plus, it's a sustainable resource. Rick Moonen would be so proud.
2. My favorite color is pink.
3. I have rhotacism, which means I can't pronounce the letter r that well, especially if it starts a word. I can fake it if it's an end syllable.
4. I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs. I've never really appreciated whatever they do to you. I've drank my share of alcohol, smoked cigarettes a while back, tried weed, but I never really got hooked on them. So now, I just don't do them.
5. I have clinical depression.
My Answers to the Questions I was Asked
1. What's the worst lie you ever told? Did you get caught?I once lied about being gay so I could prove a point. The only reason why I didn't get caught was because no one even believed the lie. For some reason, they thought I was too macho to be gay. Talk about stereotyping. But it was in high school so I guess people still had little idea about diverse the world can be.
2. What was your first date like?Technically, my first date was when I was still in kindergarten. I can still remember that day because it was also one of my most traumatizing memories. However, what I actually consider my first date, with the whole understanding between the girl and I that we were actually on a date, was during sixth grade. I asked her out, she said yes. It was very stressful for me because I wanted the whole thing to be perfect. It didn't turn out that way, though. We had a lot of awkward silences, long ones mostly. We never really hit it off. We're still friends to this day.
3. If you could know the answer to any question, besides "What is the meaning of life?", what would it be?How do I become the next Neil Gaiman?
4. What made you laugh the hardest in your entire life?I laugh a lot, even if there's nothing funny. I do it to hide any awkward reactions I might have on any given topic. The hardest? I snorted milk out of my nose the first time someone said she'd definitely marry me. "OH YOU MUST NOT KNOW ME GRRRL"
5. If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be like and what would it be for?I'm not much of a party guy. Probably just a simple get-together with either film friends or novel friends, talking about our common love for the written word or French films, over coffee after midnight.
6. What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up?Hmm... Let's see. I watched My Sister's Keeper again just last week. That movie never fails to make me cry. Can't remember the last book or TV show that made me cry, though.
7. If you were a waiter and a customer was being rude, would you spit in their food?Eww, no. He's not being rude to me, anyway; he's being rude to "waiter" me. I won't take it personally. I don't know him, so why would I care enough to spit in his food?
8. If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor?NEIL GAIMAN. Or Anne Rice. THIS IS A VERY GREAT AND ORGASMIC QUESTION
9. What do you miss most about being a kid?The constant lack of care in the world. I could spend days on end just reading books in one corner of my aunt's library without the nagging feeling of not getting any work done.
10. What would you name the autobiography of your life? That Geek in the Pink Chuck Taylors.
